Box + MedXT

Today we're sharing some big news - MedXT is being acquired by Box! We're thrilled to be joining forces with Box to deliver stronger data sharing and collaboration tools for the healthcare industry. Box powers secure content sharing for 240,000 businesses and 27 million users. By expanding the Box platform to support medical data formats like DICOM and HL7, Box will extend patient care coordination to its core healthcare customers and many of the world's leading healthcare institutions.

Box already serves providers, payors and life science companies including Stanford Health Care, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mount Sinai Health System, St. Joseph Health and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The Box platform supports HIPAA compliance and the company signs HIPAA Business Associate Agreements (BAAs).

MedXT's core technologies, including our DICOM viewer, will be incorporated into the Box platform. We believe that the combination of MedXT's PACS and cloud-based clinical image sharing tool alongside Box's HIPAA compliant file sharing solution will improve interoperability, care coordination and basic data sharing in the industry.

Your data and your account will remain accessible and we will work closely with you to provide more details in the next coming weeks.

To all of our customers and partners, thank you for joining us on our incredible journey -- it has been a pleasure working with you.
